According to the advice of American newspaper Budget Travel tourists should visit Budapest instead of Prague. An article got published in the November issue of the paper –which has 680 thousand subscribers –, which advised the tourists to visit cheaper, less-known cities instead of popular destinations, because they provide a better price/value rate.
Budapest Is a Better Place to Take a Walk
The article introduces Budapest, and encourages the reader to visit Hungary instead of the Czech Republic. The author also suggests some activities that the visitor should try here. Budapest’s advantages include its size: since the Hungarian capital is bigger, it’s more comfortable to take a nice walk in the city center here.
Budget Travel Suggests to Visit Baths and Eat Lángos
The article also mentions that although Hungary is an EU member state, it’s not part of the euro zone, thus paying with forints the tourists get cheaper prices. The author suggests that the tourists should visit the thermal baths and the Great Market Hall (Vásárcsarnok) and should try the traditional Hungarian “street food”, the lángos, which is a deep fried flat bread-like food made of a dough with flour, water, salt and yeast.
