A short walk from the City Park and the Museum of Beaux Arts, it is an even shorter stroll to Kiraly utca which is the trendy night life centre of Budapest. Tucked in between two embassies, this one-time family villa is set back far from the street behind a garden filled with tall trees. Built by Emil Vidor, the Gaudi of Hungary, in the early 1900’s, this villa is featured as the month of January in calendars of Art Nouveau Budapest.

The apartment is on the first floor with three very large high ceilinged rooms with 5 metre carved doors and windows and sleeps four. The main bedroom, with its bathroom paved in hand-made tiles behind a partition of cupboards and a stain-glass window that catches the morning sun, gives onto the large covered terrace.

The living room has a semi-circular sofa upholstered in silks from the looms of Santa Maria di Leuca, a glass chandelier from a temple in India and a dining room table designed by Patricia Urquell.A huge antique cabinet which contains the kitchen was specially shipped from Florence and dominates the kitchen/sitting room. The guest room is smaller but also has two 5 metre windows and its own bathroom.

The apartment comes with a garage, a satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.
